Kelly O'Brien is a business communication coach who works with individuals and organizational teams so they can more efficiently reach goals through the use of effective communication. Kelly is currently the Director of the Center for Professional Communication (CPC) in the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, located in Fort Worth, Texas. The CPC has a sole focus on developing and improving the communication effectiveness of more than 2000 undergraduate and graduate business students.
The CPC provides a variety of communication-related services to Neeley students including: presentation coaching, team development workshops, behavioral assessment facilitation and debriefs, resume and interview coaching, conflict communication strategies and other professional skill-oriented workshops.
In addition to providing services to students at Neeley, Kelly works mainly with small and medium-sized businesses to develop and effectively deliver capital raising pitches. He also provides personalized coaching and facilitates targeted workshops for mangement and executive teams in the area of interpersonal communication.
Kelly holds a Master of Science in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University and is certified to deliver and facilitate the: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), ASSESS Personality and 360°, Wilson Learning's Relationship Versatility, TDF Cognitive Styles Inventory, Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), TKI Conflict Mode Instrument, and Inscapes Personal Listening Profile.
